Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah

May all be happy.

सभी सुखी रहें, यही प्रार्थना और उद्देश्य होना चाहिए।

Our prayers and efforts should be for the happiness and well-being of all beings.

Sanskrit Shloka

सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः।
सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः।
सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु।
मा कश्चिद् दुःखभाग् भवेत्॥

Spiritual Significance :

This shloka is a universal prayer for peace and compassion. It reflects the selfless nature of Sanatan Dharma, where one’s personal growth is incomplete without the welfare of all.

It teaches:

  • Inclusiveness (समावेशिता): Not just for humans, but for all living beings.

  • Compassion (करुणा): A prayer not just for self, but for all.

  • Positive Vision (सकारात्मक दृष्टि): Wishing everyone sees goodness and auspiciousness.

  • Ahimsa & Empathy: Let no being be in sorrow — not even one’s enemies.
